Assessment
Generally speaking, most courses are assessed by a combination of continuous assessment and examination, while some theoretical courses are assessed 100% by continuous assessment consisting of such elements as home assignment, presentation, quiz and term paper. The criterion-based approach will be adopted for all types of assessment. A rubric will be developed for every assessment tasks for each course at a later stage.
Letter grades are used to indicate a student’s academic performance in a course. Grades are awarded according to the following system:
